When I do business with somebody, I want to know a little something about them. In doing research for this business, surprisingly, there is not much in the way of this on other sites.
So, my name is Matt Prielipp. I started in the media business at the age of 12 as a assistant photo editor for the local newspaper. At 16, I ran camera for the local cable TV station and in 1991, I began a career in radio broadcasting. In radio, I did everything from being a DJ, to a program director, production, operations manager, marketing and promotions. I worked for several companies including Disney and Bonneville Broadcasting.
But it was in 1994 when a woman came to tell us that our stations needed this new thing called a “website” that I fell in love with new media. I promptly ran to CompUSA and bought a modem for our Apple LC 3. At that point, I taught myself how to write code from scratch and have designing web properties ever since. In recent years, I have come to focus on content management systems Wordpress and Joomla, as well as marketing through social media.
